Just 55 minutes from Geneva, Servoz is the Chamonix valley’s hidden secret – a beautiful unspoilt French alpine village with lots of sunshine and breath-taking views of Mont Blanc. It’s easy to feel that you are in the remote French alps but it’s only a 10-minute drive to Chamonix centre.

Servoz is a great summer spot with plenty of hiking trails to the Fiz mountain range starting from town. There is also the popular ‘Lac Vert’ – a stunning natural swimming lake surrounded by spruce trees that often reflects the view of Mont Blanc towering over the village. Property prices in Servoz are well below that of Chamonix itself at an average of just over 5000 euro / m2. That is however starting to change as canny property investors have begun to catch on to Servoz as a more affordable alternative to Chamonix in which to buy a French ski property.
